From setup to a useful MTSS meeting
- Day 1
Set up and try it
Someone on the school team sets up the Sheet and loads the demo data to see every report. Teachers install the app and add students by number.
- Weeks 1–4
Teachers record as it happens
Four taps during an event, details after, then an export to the school folder. The Sheet imports every hour and emails teachers anything to fix.
- Week 4
First suggested tiers
The MTSS overview suggests a tier for each student from the last 4 weeks. It’s a prompt for the team, not a decision.
- Week 8 on
Trends and interventions
Each student’s last 4 weeks are compared with the 4 before, and every intervention shows before and since. Meeting reports and family drafts are one menu item away.
What it deliberately doesn’t do
- It doesn’t diagnose
- Tiers are suggestions and timing describes an observation. People make the decisions.
- It doesn’t hold student data
- No server, no cloud copy, no accounts. Records stay on school devices and in the school’s Workspace.
- It doesn’t replace your systems
- It isn’t a student information system or an MTSS platform. It feeds the meetings you already hold.
- It doesn’t share on its own
- Nothing syncs in the background. Access to reports follows your Google sharing rules.
For your review process
- Vendor exposure
- No student data reaches Progress Grove, so a problem on our side can’t expose student records.
- Where records live
- On school devices and in your Google Workspace, under your own retention rules.
- Data privacy agreements
- Need a signed student data privacy agreement for your review? Ask us; we sign them.
- If you stop
- Teachers erase the app’s data on their devices. Your Sheet, exports and reports stay in your Workspace. There is nothing to get back from us.
